Sandy & Rath | Post-Wedding Session at Pike Place Market & The Waterfront!!

Okay, watch out… this post is going to be packed with pictures!! We had the joy of shooting Sandy & Rath’s lovely wedding back in January, but because of their busy work schedules, they couldn’t fit an engagement session in… until now!! (Hence, the phrase “Post-Wedding Session!” :)

It worked out perfectly, anyway, because the weather in January has nothing on this July sunshine!! ;) The combination of location, stylish outfits and the perfectly charming couple made for some of our favorite pics, so we just couldn’t narrow it down any further!

After a quick wardrobe change, we headed down to the waterfront…

Um, could they be any cuter?! We just loooove the matching Sperrys!! :)

You should’ve seen Jeff’s eyes light up when Sandy & Rath agreed to run for a few shots… :)

Sandy & Rath – It was such fun for us to hang out with you two newlyweds again – we can’t wait ’til the next time!!

Maria & Kyle | Fremont Engagement Pictures!!

These two cuties are getting married in Portland in September, and we CAN’T WAIT!! :) We had so much fun traipsing around Fremont with them for their engagement session & we just know their wedding is going to be amazing…

We lucked out with the perfect Seattle weather for a shoot…

These two are so stylish… and doesn’t Maria look gorgeous in her adorable Anthropologie skirt?!! Love it. :)

The peonies at the Fremont Sunday Market were irresistible!

…because we can’t resist sharing just one shot from last night’s engagement session in Edmonds with Tami & Chris. We had rain, wind, sun and rainbows – all in the time-span of 90 minutes!! Gotta love that Pacific Northwest weather, because without it Jeff couldn’t have captured this lovely image:

These two are getting married in just a few short weeks, and we can’t wait for their wedding!!

Molly & Jeff | Seattle Engagement Session!!

This is a very Seattle engagement session – complete with Kerry Park, Queen Anne, Belltown – and a sweet guitar!! Starring the gorgeous Molly & handsome Jeff – two very special friends of ours who are recently engaged and planning what is destined to be an amazing wedding…

It started off a bit windy, but we found shelter at Parsons Gardens and listened while Jeff serenaded Molly…

…and after a quick outfit change, we headed to the alleys of Belltown. ;)

Katie & Brandon – Engaged!

We thought it would be fun to do Katie and Brandon’s engagement session

at Discovery Park – we’d use the lighthouse as a fabulous backdrop right at sunset…

Imagine our surprise when we pulled into the parking lot to see the lighthouse

covered in construction tarps!! Lucky for us, there was an old sailboat down the beach

and Katie was happy to tromp down there in her high-heeled boots. :)

Outdoor photo shoots during the winter in Seattle can be a little bit chilly (okay, let’s be

honest – it can be downright bone-chilling!) but the stormy weather made for some

nice, dramatic scenery this time around… and a little wind in the hair never hurts, either. :)

Tanya & Marty – Engaged!! : Seattle Wedding Photographers

A drizzly afternoon in Ballard made for a very romantic

engagement shoot… we were just there to capture the joy that permeates

Tanya & Marty’s relationship:)! We can’t wait for their wedding in October,

or the delicious Cupcake Royale treats that will be enticing us at the reception;)!

Oh, and I can’t forget to mention that Tanya is an amazing florist, so we

Kelly & Travis – Engagement! : Seattle Wedding Photographers

What happens when you take a million pictures at 3 different locations on a beautiful Memorial Day Weekend?! You have way too many to choose from!!

Kelly & Travis are so much fun… we met up at Tennant Lake in Ferndale to wander the boardwalks & then headed to Hovander Park for some shots with the big red barn. Then, it was off to Neptune Beach at Sandy Point for some windy weather and toe-dipping in the cold water! They kept us laughing the entire time – or we kept them laughing, we’re not sure which – and it got us so excited for their wedding in August! When people ask Kelly about her wedding plans, she says, “You mean the party?” which, of course, implies that it will be a very fun time:)!

So, without further ado, we will share a narrowed-down selection of our favorite shots… we just couldn’t pare it down any more!

Ashley & Joe – Engagement!! : Seattle Wedding Photographers

We promised these would be here soon, so here they are – Ashley & Joe’s engagement pictures… We lucked out with an amazing sunny day last Sunday at UW (a miracle, considering Ashley & Joe woke up to snow in Issaquah that morning!). The cherry trees were just blooming enough to give us a nice shot of pink & the beers were flowing like, well, like they only can at an Irish pub… Finn MacCool’s is an old favorite hangout of theirs, so they figured it was the perfect place to end the shoot, and we’d have to agree!!
