Hello All! Long time no post, right?! Well, there’s a reason for that. ;) While I’ve still been busy with photo shoots this last year, I’ve also been plugging away at my new project – Anders!

It’s been a long-time dream of mine to open a boutique, and this year felt like the perfect time to stop waiting around and go for it. My babies aren’t babies anymore (wahhh!) and I have a teensy bit more time on my hands (let’s be honest, working parents are always busy, but once the kiddos start school some of the demands on your time get a little easier) so I’m gonna open up shop.

Anders will be a lifestyle boutique with an emphasis on sourcing socially conscious goods, and I already have so many cute items that I can’t wait to share! The store will be online this year, and we’re planning on a Seattle brick-and-mortar next year as well.

What does this all mean for my lovely Sea Studio clients, you ask? Not to worry – I’ll still be doing portrait photography for existing clients, just no longer accepting new clients (but let me know if you’re a new client looking for a great photographer – I’m happy to recommend some of my lovely friends)!!

I was at Greenlake for a little shoot just yesterday, and these early spring flowers (or late winter, but I’m the glass is half-full kind of girl!) were looking oh-so-promising. Can’t wait for longer days and Vitamin D (that isn’t from a bottle)!
