We just picked up some Holga shots that we finally had developed (our first couple of rolls since we bought it over a year ago!!:) and we love them! Definitely gonna get this baby out more often.

We had so much fun running around Howarth Park in Everett with these guys!! The beautiful, sunny weather was such a relief after our first session with them was rained out! Check ‘em out…

Mack Strong TEAM-WORKS Academy Golf Tournament & Auction

It’s so great to see a group of people come together to support an amazing cause!! For the last three years, we’ve contributed to the Mack Strong TEAM-WORKS Auction, but this is the first time we were able to take pictures of the actual event, and we can tell you – it was a blast!

This year’s tournament and auction were held at the gorgeous Golf Club at Newcastle. (At which we’ve shot a family session, senior portraits, and a maternity session… now it’s just time to do a Newcastle wedding & we’ve got all our bases covered, haha! :) Mack & Zoe Strong were inspiring hosts, and Jen Mueller and John Curley added to the fun at the auction… If you enjoy golf, shopping, and, most important, like to help under-served kids, (see the TEAM-WORKS site for more details about the work they do!) then definitely sign up for this fabulous event next year!!

Of course, we loved checking out all of the silent auction items…

St. Andrews Ballroom was set beautifully for the dinner and live auction…

This was our first time attending an auction, but we’re pretty sure John Curley must be one of the best auctioneers out there – he had everyone laughing the entire time, and it was all we could do to keep from bidding on every item!! :)

We can’t wait for next year!!

Sandy & Rath | Post-Wedding Session at Pike Place Market & The Waterfront!!

Okay, watch out… this post is going to be packed with pictures!! We had the joy of shooting Sandy & Rath’s lovely wedding back in January, but because of their busy work schedules, they couldn’t fit an engagement session in… until now!! (Hence, the phrase “Post-Wedding Session!” :)

It worked out perfectly, anyway, because the weather in January has nothing on this July sunshine!! ;) The combination of location, stylish outfits and the perfectly charming couple made for some of our favorite pics, so we just couldn’t narrow it down any further!

After a quick wardrobe change, we headed down to the waterfront…

Um, could they be any cuter?! We just loooove the matching Sperrys!! :)

You should’ve seen Jeff’s eyes light up when Sandy & Rath agreed to run for a few shots… :)

Sandy & Rath – It was such fun for us to hang out with you two newlyweds again – we can’t wait ’til the next time!!

Seattle Maternity Portraits | Katie & John at the Sculpture Park!

It was one of those perfect Seattle days… blue skies, a slight breeze off the water and just enough warmth from the sunshine to make a jacket useless! We met up with John & Katie (and their sweet boxer, Brody!) at the Olympic Sculpture Park to do their maternity session just a week before Katie’s due date – and it’s a good thing we did, because their little baby girl arrived right on time!!

We just can’t wait to meet their little chica. Congrats, you two!! :)

S’Mores, Sand & Sun!

There is nothing like Sandy Point in Ferndale, WA on the 4th of July!! Of course, I’m biased because I grew up there, but honestly – it is crazy and fun and we had a blast (LOL – pun intended!!;) hanging out at my mom’s beach cabin last weekend! We played on the beach, ate waaay too many S’Mores, and got in some much-needed relaxation. It’s been ages since we shared any fun personal photos, so we had to post a few!

Martha Stewart, I mean Mom ;), made homemade naan!! Sooo delicious…

I had to post a few of Jeff’s fireworks shots… so cool, no?!

Seattle Wedding Planner – Wendi of Ethereal Events!!

Wendi and I met at a bridal event at J. Rankin Jewellers and we immediately clicked! We chatted about shoes, weddings, jewelry… the list goes on! Wendi is the amazing and talented owner of Ethereal Events – and a wedding planner extraordinaire! She’s been in the business for years & planned over 100 weddings, so you know she knows her stuff!

We had a blast hanging out in Ballard for her shoot – nothing like a gorgeous Seattle sunset to make great pictures! :)

Brackett’s Landing + beautiful weather + an adorable family = The Perfect Combo for great family pictures!! :)

We’re not sure how we luck out with the best clients, but we always seem to drive home saying, “That was sooo much fun – can’t wait to hang out with them again!” We are so lucky to call this our job!

We had such a blast with these three & their sweet hound dog, Dexter, and we’re super excited to share their pictures…Enjoy!!

Maria & Kyle | Fremont Engagement Pictures!!

These two cuties are getting married in Portland in September, and we CAN’T WAIT!! :) We had so much fun traipsing around Fremont with them for their engagement session & we just know their wedding is going to be amazing…

We lucked out with the perfect Seattle weather for a shoot…

These two are so stylish… and doesn’t Maria look gorgeous in her adorable Anthropologie skirt?!! Love it. :)

Tami & Chris | Pine River Ranch Wedding!!

So happy to be sharing a lovely wedding with you on this Friday morning! Tami & Chris chose one of our favorite venues, Pine River Ranch, for their big day, and we were thrilled to head back there…

With the barn, beautiful horses, gorgeous flowers (which Tami’s friend arranged!!) and the glowing, happy couple, there were sooo many perfect photo ops it was hard to narrow it down. Here are a few favorites:) :

As the end of the reception neared, Tami came up to us and said, “We’re going to jump in the pond!” to which we replied, “Awesome!!!” and followed them in the rain, umbrellas in one hand, cameras in the other and watched as they jumped into the freezing water…

Congrats, you two!!
