The McDowells – Family Portraits!!

Dani was planning to be our birth doula when Audrey was

born, but there was just one catch:  her own baby was due only a couple of weeks after ours,

so the timing would be tricky.  She came to our house and patiently taught Jeff  little tricks for supporting

me during labor, “just in case” it didn’t work out for her to be there…

Sure enough, Audrey came a couple of weeks after her due date, and little Greta showed up early!!

Dani was home with her three little ones, but still took the time to talk us through some

of the big decisions while we were at Swedish Ballard… and now we call Jeff the “man-doula” (actually

quite the oxymoron) because he successfully supported me through the experience. :)

Well, a few months later and we finally got to meet little Greta and

the rest of Dani’s sweet family!!  They are so cute and fun to be around, we started

to think maybe three kids is the right number for us, too…;)
