We were so excited to meet up with Melissa & Chris on Camano Island to do a shoot with them & little Anneliese! Melissa’s dad’s vacation home is on a beautiful stretch of beach, with calm water and loads of driftwood (which, by the way, Jeff tripped on and nearly bailed completely… thank goodness, he didn’t and the camera was saved… I mean, Jeff was saved;) We lucked out with gorgeous weather, and had so much fun hanging out at the beach with them, we really didn’t want to leave… although, a dinner of carnitas and strawberry pie beckoned us from Jeff’s brother’s house in Stanwood!!
Anneliese was very cooperative – when we asked Melissa if she had a nickname, she told us not really, but sometimes they call her “Monkey” so we tried it out & got some great smiles:)! Oh, and we threw in a couple of fun vintage effects at the end because the “baby at the beach” pics reminded Sally of her childhood…
