What better time to get the family together for pictures than when welcoming a new little one?! Miss Mallory arrived just after we did Katie & John’s maternity session – and we’ve been eager to meet her ever since! Luckily, these guys won the portrait package we donated to the TEAM-WORKS auction, so we finally got to meet their newest little family member last week!!
The sun came out just in time for the end of our shoot, and the waterfront at Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island couldn’t have been any prettier…

These guys thought I was crazy when I asked them to do their best “GQ” pose for us, but they totally pulled it off! ;)

Love this one of Colleen with her newest granddaughter…
…and this one with her boys!

Aren’t Katie’s parents the cutest?!
Katie, it was so much fun meeting your family!! Can’t wait for you to see the rest! :)

Oh, I am so so excited to share this post with you today!! As a self-proclaimed stationery fanatic (um, it doesn’t matter how many blank notebooks or thank you cards you have… there is always room for one more!!) – I was immediately drawn to the Paper Delights display at the Seattle Wedding Show earlier this year…
Of course, it was with great delight (heehee) that I learned that, not only do they create fabulous stationery suites for brides, but they also own a lovely little boutique right in Wallingford!! Kathy & Alicia are a mother-and-daughter team who were obviously destined to share their impeccable taste with the world. From sweet treats, to calendars, to perfect little baby shower gifts and the best selection of cards in Seattle, they seriously always have exactly what I am looking for (and a myriad of adorable things I didn’t even know I needed;)!

How adorable are these little crocheted booties?!!
Um, yes, I’ve tried the Lemon Blueberry Shortbreads, and they are delicious!!

Thanks, Ladies, for letting me share a little peek into your shop!
Happy Monday!

Seattle treated us with beautiful, golden skies for our session with this adorable family at Greenlake! Little Chiara is just learning to sit up on her own, so we had a few good laughs watching her mommy catch her in between shots… They gathered some of their extended family together as well for some priceless pictures with their baby girl!

Ahh, this was such a joyous and vibrant wedding – we were so lucky to be asked to photograph it!!
The Burke Museum on the UW campus was the perfect setting… in front of friends & family, fossils & beautiful artwork, these lovely ladies said their vows and celebrated their future together. We love that not just the wedding party, but also the guests, dressed in fabulous 1920′s fashions… and the sun joined in to make a gorgeous summer day.

The photography exhibit was a perfect, intimate setting for the ceremony…

We stole the newlyweds away for some quick photos after the ceremony…

Shannon is a chef and prepared the beautiful (& delicious!) food…

Thanks, you two, for sharing your day with us!

One of the amazing girls I met while working at Mercer (a really fabulous store – you absolutely must check it out!) was Miss Danielle… she is sooo stylish, has a great sense of humor, and is traffic-stopping gorgeous!! Of course, when we decided to do our little Pink Garden Party shoot awhile back she was the first person we thought of to model for us. (Luckily, she didn’t think I was crazy when I asked. :)
In the midst of all the planning and organizing (all while chasing my little toddler around :) I nearly forgot to ask Danielle to bring her sweet dog, Doll! Luckily, she asked if she could join us and we were so happy to have her for the shoot! These two are just adorable and they were the perfect models for our little fashion/inspiration shoot!!

We had so much fun running around Howarth Park in Everett with these guys!! The beautiful, sunny weather was such a relief after our first session with them was rained out! Check ‘em out…

Love how this one makes you feel like you’re on the merry-go-round!! :)

It’s so great to see a group of people come together to support an amazing cause!! For the last three years, we’ve contributed to the Mack Strong TEAM-WORKS Auction, but this is the first time we were able to take pictures of the actual event, and we can tell you – it was a blast!
This year’s tournament and auction were held at the gorgeous Golf Club at Newcastle. (At which we’ve shot a family session, senior portraits, and a maternity session… now it’s just time to do a Newcastle wedding & we’ve got all our bases covered, haha! :) Mack & Zoe Strong were inspiring hosts, and Jen Mueller and John Curley added to the fun at the auction… If you enjoy golf, shopping, and, most important, like to help under-served kids, (see the TEAM-WORKS site for more details about the work they do!) then definitely sign up for this fabulous event next year!!

Of course, we loved checking out all of the silent auction items…

St. Andrews Ballroom was set beautifully for the dinner and live auction…

This was our first time attending an auction, but we’re pretty sure John Curley must be one of the best auctioneers out there – he had everyone laughing the entire time, and it was all we could do to keep from bidding on every item!! :)

We can’t wait for next year!!

Okay, watch out… this post is going to be packed with pictures!! We had the joy of shooting Sandy & Rath’s lovely wedding back in January, but because of their busy work schedules, they couldn’t fit an engagement session in… until now!! (Hence, the phrase “Post-Wedding Session!” :)
It worked out perfectly, anyway, because the weather in January has nothing on this July sunshine!! ;) The combination of location, stylish outfits and the perfectly charming couple made for some of our favorite pics, so we just couldn’t narrow it down any further!

After a quick wardrobe change, we headed down to the waterfront…

Um, could they be any cuter?! We just loooove the matching Sperrys!! :)

You should’ve seen Jeff’s eyes light up when Sandy & Rath agreed to run for a few shots… :)

Sandy & Rath – It was such fun for us to hang out with you two newlyweds again – we can’t wait ’til the next time!!
